2024 Woodbridge Club Swim Team Program Information

The program fee is $225 per child. 

Bathing Suit Fitting is set for Tuesday, May 21 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Woodbridge Club Clubhouse

Practice Schedule: (We start on Monday, June 17) 

Practices are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 

• Advanced: 1- 2 p.m.  (Ages 11 & Older)
• Novice and Intermediate: 2:15 - 3 p.m. (Ages 10 & Under)
• Swimmers under the age of 6 will practice during the 2:15 p.m. session unless they have a tennis conflict. 
• If there is a tennis conflict, swimmers 6 and under will practice from 1 - 1:45 p.m.

Swimmers please arrive to warm up by 8:45 a.m. on meet days. All meets begin at 9:30 a.m. Swim team banquet details are being finalized and will be shared soon. 

Volunteers Wanted: We need volunteers to donate popsicles for home meets. About 150 popsicles to cover both teams. I will touch base with the opposing coach the week before each meet to confirm the number of swimmers. Please contact me if you want to donate. We also need timers for dual meets and championships. Please let me know ASAP if you can donate your time. 

*Graduated Relays consist of one member from each of the 4 age groups (9&10, 11&12, 13&14, and 15-18).

*Medley Relays consist of 1 length of each stroke by 4 different swimmers

*Freestyle relays consist of 4 lengths of freestyle by 4 different swimmers

Number of events

• • In dual meets, swimmers may participate in 3 individual events and 1 relay, or 2 individual events and 2 relays

  • In championships, swimmers may participate in 2 individual events and 1 relay, or 1 individual event and 2 relays

Eligibility: 

The cutoff date for a given age group is determined by the swimmer’s age as of July 1, 2024
