As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together as a community, the board of The Woodbridge Club wants to assure its members that we are doing everything possible to make informed decisions for the safety of our members and the future of our club. We continue to meet weekly to discuss state regulations and guidelines affecting our ongoing season. All updates to our members will be listed here as decisions are made. We will continue to diligently implement policies and procedures to protect our membership and community.
In an effort to assist parents, The Woodbridge Club runs a supervised Kidz Klub program for children entering 1st grade through 8th grade from June 22, 2021 through August 20, 2021, 12pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday RAIN or SHINE. (Note: We do offer an option for late pick up until 5:30pm for an additional cost of $15.00 per week per child.)
This is not a camp, but a special supervised service provided by and for The Woodbridge Club members only. All participants must abide by all of The Woodbridge Club rules.
GRADE 1 THROUGH 3 – we will be offering a more structured program with close supervision at the cost of $130 per week for one child and $100 for each additional child. More organized activities will be provided.
GRADES 4 THROUGH 8 – supervision will be provided for $110 per week for the first child and $80 for each additional child. This program will give children the opportunity to participate in regular swim and tennis programs, optional club organized activities, or self-directed play with their friends.
Members wishing to participate in this program can either drop their child off at The Woodbridge Club or use the transportation that will be provided by Sorenson Bus Company to get their child to The Woodbridge Club from Woodbridge Recreation. Upon arriving at The Woodbridge Club, they will be greeted and signed in by our staff. Snacks must be brought from home or purchased using an account established with the snack bar. For children with severe allergies, an EpiPen must be kept on premises. Any type of restriction should be documented on the application.
The swimming ability of all participants will be evaluated to determine the safest areas of the pool in which they will be permitted to swim.
For an additional fee, Kidz Klub participants can enroll in swimming and tennis clinics or can choose to sign up for private tennis and swim lessons. Our staff will make sure that children who are scheduled for these activities are ready and arrive on time. Announcements will be made regularly to remind children in the program to check in with their assigned staff member. Staff will be available at all times for any questions, concerns or emergencies. Children will be encouraged to participate in club organized and supervised games, activities, and special events. Indoor activities will be organized on rainy days.
