During this unprecedented and difficult time, the board of The Woodbridge Club wants to assure its members that we are doing everything possible to make informed decisions for the safety of our members and the future of our club. We are meeting weekly to discuss State regulations and guidelines affecting the upcoming summer season. All updates to our members will be listed here as soon as decisions have been made. We hope for the safety and well being of our families and will continue to do our part to support the health of our community.
In an effort to assist parents, The Woodbridge Club runs our supervised Kidz Klub programs for children entering 1st grade through 8th grade from June 16th through August 14th, 2020, 12pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday RAIN or SHINE. (Note: We do offer an option or late pickup until 5:30pm for a small additional cost.) This is not a camp, but a special supervised service provided by and for The Woodbridge Club members only. All participants must abide by all of The Woodbridge Club rules.
GRADES 4 THROUGH 8 – supervision will be provided for *$80 per week for the first child and $50 for each additional child. Price includes transportation to The Woodbridge Club from Woodbridge Recreation. This program will give children the opportunity to participate in regular swim and tennis programs, optional club organized activities, or self-directed play with their friends.
Members wishing to participate in this program can either drop their child off at The Woodbridge Club or use the transportation that will be provided by Sorenson Bus Company to get their child to The Woodbridge Club from Woodbridge Recreation. Upon arriving at The Woodbridge Club, they will be greeted and signed in by our staff. Snacks must be brought from home or purchased using an account established with the snack bar. For children with severe allergies, an EpiPen must be kept on premises. Any type of restriction should be documented on the application.
The swimming ability of all participants will be evaluated to determine the safest areas of the pool in which they will be permitted to swim.
Not included in this Program fee, but available to children in the Program, are swimming and tennis clinics, and private tennis and swim lessons. Our staff will make sure that children who are scheduled for these activities are ready and arrive on time. Announcements will be made regularly to remind children in the program to check in with their assigned staff member. Staff will be available at all times for any questions, concern or emergencies. Children will be encouraged to participate in club organized and supervised games, activities, and special events. Indoor activities will be organized on rainy days.
GRADE 1 THROUGH 3 – we will be offering a more structured program with close supervision at the cost of $110 per week for one child and $80 for each additional child. As per with Grades 4-8, a snack bar account will need to be established for snacks or they may be brought from home. More organized activities will be provided. Children in grades 1 through 3 unable to swim across the pool must enroll in swim classes, not covered in the registration fee.
Half hour late pickup 5:30 - $10 per week per child
$30 price reduction will be applied for second child even when they are in upper and lower programs.
